All so lovely, Lucy. And I love that you send these out on Sundays, because they reflect the slow, easeful pace I aspire to live on Sunday afternoons and evenings. ❤️
So love your capacity to find the beauty in the ordinary Lucy. It is such a great reminder that it is all around us, all of the time, if we open our senses 🙏
Slow Sundays captures these posts so accurately Lucy! I hope your week goes well, that you can leave undone the things that don’t need to be done and focus on what aligns to your true values!
I know it is for the people who comment, but I don’t know if it is for the people who don’t comment, and so I suppose as I am starting out, the question arises in my reflections. More would be me actually understanding how to record professionally and moving on with my ideas, and having more time to progress my ideas.
Not commenting isn’t necessarily a reflection in what you are writing but I understand the need for writing on Substack to initiate dialogue - but then time becomes an issue for both authors and readers doesn’t it?
I am a very lazy commenter as I often don’t feel I have the time to make a worthwhile comment so stay silent. Just do what feels right and authentic for you and your audience will find you I’m sure.
I feel so calm after reading your words, Lucy! I too love to find beauty in the ordinary, everyday moments of life and really enjoyed reading about yours. x
Thank you, Georgie! I’m so glad you enjoyed this and really appreciate the comment, I’m still finding my writing feet, and sometimes wonder if I’m boring people or if my idea to sooth tired brains works 🤔

Thank you, Anne! Sometimes I worry that people may get bored. Today I found myself wondering if I should give more in some way 🤔
Author self doubt!?
Question maybe is it doing what you want it to? On the other hand if it’s asking you for more, what would that look like?
