Beautiful as always, Lucy! And your recipes always look so nourishing. I was vegetarian/vegan for a decade and still go through periods of eating very little meat...but ultimately find that I need it again for both my physical and mental health.

Same here, I was vegetarian for about 18 years and became vegan when I married because my husband was vegan and it was part of the shiatsu/yoga lifestyle back in the 90’s. This is when all the digestive issues began for me, along with emotional ups and downs and hormonal imbalances. Many years later I discovered I needed meat in my diet to keep my vata pitta constitution in balance. It was a life changer to discover the person I became was actually extreme vata imbalance!
